DESCRIPTION:Do you want to support survivors and make a difference in our community? Join us for our Volunteer Training Program! The seven-week program will take place on Thursday nights beginning February 13 through March 26. Each session will go from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and address different aspects of our program and services. Arrangements can be made for make-up sessions if you have to miss our scheduled dates. \nIn tonight’s week six session we will focus on Medical Services. \nTo learn more about volunteering\, silverleafky.org/volunteer. DESCRIPTION:Silverleaf Sexual Trauma Recovery Svcs. hosts an anonymous\, online support group for survivors of sexual violence. The group is held on the first and third Thursday of each month from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at affiliate.rainn.org/helproom/silverleaf. \nThis group provides survivors with a safe space where they can talk\, feel supported\, and share the perspective related to their healing journey. The guest list for this event is hidden on Facebook\, so others cannot see if you RSVP to this event.
