DESCRIPTION:This eight week psycho-educational support group is intended for non-offending caregivers of children who have been sexually abused. Our therapists\, Mary Ellen O’Daniel and Chris Clan\, will help caregivers learn how to better care for children who have been affected by sexual violence and trauma. \nSpots are limited and registration is required. Our Self-Care Evenings provide survivors with an opportunity to take time for themselves.\n \nSelf-care activities include crafts\, journaling\, reading\, conversation\, aromatherapy\, and more. We will also have a certified yoga instructor available for those who are interested in exploring trauma-informed yoga practice in a safe space.\n \nOur self-care sessions are free and take place on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. You’re welcome to attend as often as you’d like!\n \nCrisis consultations and service information is also available for anyone who is interested. If you have any questions\, please feel free to give us a call at (270) 234-9236. You can also RSVP to our Facebook Event.
