Whether you know it or not, you have been impacted by sexual abuse. Maybe it was a family member or a friend. Maybe a child in your kid’s classroom. Maybe a neighbor. Maybe you are a survivor. But, statistics tell us that you know a victim of sexual abuse. In the state of Kentucky, almost 1 in 2 women and 1 in 5 men will be sexually victimized at some point in their life. In 2018, Silverleaf provided services to 922 people. That was a 114% increase from the previous year! And, that number does not capture the 16,863 students & community members we offered prevention education and outreach programs.
